Steel sections, timber lengths, ladders, plant and anything over 3 metres long usually needs a flatbed rather than a curtain side or a Luton, because the load can be secured along its full length and lifted off from the side or from above by a crane or forklift on site.
When the load is too long or too heavy for a rigid, we arrange an artic flatbed through our UK network, so steel, timber and building materials for larger sites move in one trip rather than several. Every open top lorry comes with an experienced driver who loads, secures and delivers your goods.
